Zanimljivost ovog filma ogleda se u tome što je svaka sekvenca smeštena istog dana (15. jul) kroz period od 23 godine, prateći prijateljsko-ljubavni odnos između druga i drugarice.

Njihov odnos se razvija na klasičan način, sve do pretposlednjeg čina kada dolazi do obrta – umesto očekivanog srećnog raspleta sledi tužan kraj. U poslednjem činu film nastavlja svoj diskretni vremenski tok (ritam), sve do samog završetka, kada se narativ ponovo vraća na početak vremenskog okvira. Tada vidimo sasvim drugačiji početak od onog kojim film zapravo počinje, a pažljivi gledalac može uočiti kako su se karakteri likova promenili: na početku filma ona je stidljiva i ukočena, a on slobodniji i opušteniji, dok je u završnoj sekvenci situacija obrnuta.

Takav završetak može delovati zbunjujuće, ali upravo u tome i jeste njegova čar—ostavlja gledaocu prostor da ga protumači na svoj način.

What makes this film intriguing is that each sequence takes place on the same day (July 15th) over a span of 23 years, following the friendship-turned-romance between two close friends.

Their relationship evolves in a classical manner until the penultimate act, when an unexpected twist occurs—instead of a typical happy ending, the film takes a tragic turn. In the final act, the narrative continues its subtle temporal rhythm up to the very end, where it loops back to the beginning of the timeline. At this point, we see a completely different start compared to the original opening sequence. A careful viewer will notice how the characters’ personalities have reversed: initially, she was shy and reserved while he was carefree and relaxed, but in the concluding scene, their roles have switched.

Such an ending might seem confusing, but therein lies its charm—it leaves viewers room to interpret the meaning in their own way.
