Ipak, pod pritiskom okoline, on biva primoran da kapitulira i prihvati ulogu „funkcionalnog“ člana društva i porodice.
On briljira od početka do kraja, iznoseći karakter fenomenalno i bez ijednog glumačkog pada.
The protagonist of this black comedy is Oscar, a half-realized poet who, at the very beginning, puts up a fierce resistance to social norms. However, under the pressure of his environment, he is forced to capitulate and accept the role of a „functional“ member of society and family.
The plot thickens when his job at a school leads to an encounter with an exceptionally gifted student. In her, Oscar sees a chance for redemption—he believes she will manage to achieve the poetic pinnacle that eluded him. However, the idyll is shattered by an incident that triggers an avalanche, leading to his total ostracization and „cancelation“ from social life.
In certain segments, the film is reminiscent of the drama The Hunt (2012), dealing with the theme of collective condemnation, yet it remains firmly within the realm of comedy throughout.
The lead character is portrayed by a non-professional actor. He delivers a brilliant performance from start to finish, portraying the character phenomenally without a single lapse in delivery.
