Francuska vizija makedonskog filma Mimi, s tom razlikom što (meni lično) Mimi ima dušu, bez obzira na skromniji budžet.
Jedan Srbin, pomalo pisac, a više vozač gradskog autobusa, upoznaje usamljenu devojku koja je usred raskida… Tu se razvije strast i ništa više. Posle godinu dana oni se ponovo sreću dok ona nosi dete u naručju. On je pita: „Čije je dete?“, a ona se pita: da li je njegovo, njeno ili njene najbolje prijateljice?
Gledajući oba filma (Mimi i The Rapture), s jedne strane ćete sažaljevati, a s druge strane mrzeti glavnu junakinju. S tom razlikom da, kada u The Rapture dođe scena srpske slave, biće vam čak i smešno dok se pitate: „U šta se ova devojka uvalila?“
Dok se u Mimi spiralno ulazi u zaveru, u The Rapture imamo spiralno zapetljavanje u laž, ali u oba slučaja spirala vodi na drugu stranu zakona.

A French take on the Macedonian film Mimi, with the difference being that (in my opinion) Mimi has soul, despite its modest budget.
A Serbian man, somewhat of a writer but mostly a city bus driver, meets a lonely girl in the midst of a breakup… There, passion sparks but nothing more. A year later, they meet again, and she’s holding a child in her arms. He asks her, “Whose child is it?” while she wonders: is it his, hers, or her best friend’s?
Watching both films (Mimi and The Rapture), on one hand, you’ll feel pity for the main heroine, and on the other, you’ll hate her. The difference is that when the scene of a Serbian slava (patron saint feast) appears in The Rapture, you might even laugh, asking yourself: “What has this girl gotten herself into?”
While Mimi spirals into a conspiracy, The Rapture spirals into lies, but in both cases, the spiral leads to the other side of the law.
